Abrasives (Sanding)
Due to its hardness and corrosion resistance quartz material is seen as an excellent abrasive. In addition, it also serves for sanding, glass stoning material, friction cleaner (powder), grinding and cutting sand purposes.

Filling Material
Quartz sand and crushed quartz are used as filling materials in manufacture of adhesives, pastes, paints and rubber. Provides properties like strength, chemical inertness, physical resistance and corrosion resistance.

Filters 
Quartz material can be used as treatment sand in treatment of industrial, pool and potable water sources.
